NIKE FC Power Hotel Information

FOR THE NIKE DAYTONA BEACH 100, ALL CLUBS RESIDING MORE THAN 60 MILES FROM THE PLAYING VENUE MUST SECURE
AT LEAST 8 hotel room-nights per team through THS to be accepted into the event!

THS will be handling the NIKE FC Power Championships TOURNAMENT HOTEL block this year!

Participants wishing to stay in the tournament hotels can make reservations after 2PM EST October 24th via THS.

How to Book the Tournament Hotel Block through THS:

• Register for the event on SportWrench.
• Pay for your entry fee via check or credit card.
• Make hotel reservations for your team through THS.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: Club MUST be registered and paid for the tournament in order to book hotel rooms for your Club/Team(s)!
• Encourage your team parents to book through THS.
• Accept hotel contract you receive from THS.
• Receive your acceptance notice from the tournament!

Stay, Play and Save Policy

The NIKE FC Power Championships utilizes the "Stay, Play, and Save" policy that was instituted in 2011. Each team registering for the tournament must make its hotel reservations through THS at an approved JVC hotel to be eligible to participate in the tournament. The approved hotel list is generated by JVC and THS. Reasons for implementing the Stay, Play, and Save policy are to increase the amount of room nights available to teams and clubs and to help police the rates the hotels are offering. By increasing the amount of room nights actually used for the purpose of attending our events, the NIKE FC Power Championships is able to prove to the host city our positive impact on their local economy, thus building stronger relationships as well as helping to offset facility pricing. All hotel rates within our tournament block include a rebate amount that the tournament uses to offset facility expenses. 

THS is and will continue to guarantee the lowest group rates available through continual rate integrity checks (exclusions include single/king bedded rooms, employee rates, government rates, AAA and AARP rates).  If you still are unsure, or think you have found a better rate, please feel free to call THS.

Free Rooms:

This year, you can earn comp rooms when you book hotels through THS! Parent rooms, so long as the club name/code is given to THS when making the reservation, will also be included in your room total.

For example, if a club has 35 rooms for 2 nights for a total of 70 room-nights at a hotel with a 20:1 comp ratio, that club receives 3 free room-nights at that hotel! IMPORTANT: For this event, bookings at Headquarters hotels or pre-determined downtown staff locations will not be included in comp room earnings.

Special Situations:

**NOTE: The considerations below do not apply to individual reservations, ONLY a Team or an entire Club.

1. Does your team/club already have a signed hotel contract? Please email THS a copy of your Hotel contract and what your needs are. We will try and incorporate those rooms into our approved hotel list.
2. If you are a local team, not in need of hotel rooms, please contact AJ Joseph at AJ@jvctournaments.com or 719-201-7323. Make sure to specify which event!
3. If your team intends to rent a house, use a time share or stay with local family/friends, please contact AJ as well.
