Hampton Holiday Classic General Tournament Information

YOU CAN FIND ALL OF THE IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS EVENT BELOW!

TEAM ENTRY FEES:

• $450 for all Girls and Boys Divisions

AGE DIVISIONS & LEVELS OF PLAY:​

GIRLS:  12's-18's
BOYS:   14's-18's

• Highest - Open Division
• Second  - USA Division
• Third - Club Division

IMPORTANT: Not all levels of play will be offered for all divisions. Divisions must have at least 5 teams entered or age divisions may be combined! 

DIVISION FORMATS:

All divisions will have formats designed to guarantee each team at least 5 matches or the equivalent number of sets.

OUR MANDATORY ONLINE TEAM CHECK-IN PROCESS (READ ALL DETAILS BELOW):

• SportWrench Online Team Check-In will open approximately 1 week prior to the event!
• COACHES OR CLUB DIRECTORS MUST complete Online Team Check-In for their teams prior to tournament play. Paper rosters will not be accepted.
• There are 5 available staff positions PER ROSTER with a MAXIMUM of 3 PRIMARY staff members PER ROSTER.  
  • Upon completion of Online Team Check-In, ONLY those 3 PRIMARY roster personnel will receive a unique QR code via text & email for entry into the event!  
  • Any additional members listed on that roster need to purchase SPECTATOR passes online to gain entry unless they are listed as PRIMARY on another roster for the same event.  
• ROSTERS WILL BE PRINTED ON SCORESHEETS and ONLY those listed will be allowed to sit on the bench for that team. Staff can be listed on MULTIPLE rosters to allow staff to receive PRIMARY QR code for entry.
• Athletes turning 18 years old BEFORE or DURING the season, they must complete SafeSport training to be eligible to play and for the team roster to be valid for check-in.
• Additionally, all team bench personnel (Coaches, Asst. Coaches, Team Rep/Mgrs) MUST have...

TOURNAMENT UNIFORMS - 2024 HAMPTON HOLIDAY CLASSIC ONLY:

All teams playing in the Hampton Holiday Classic have been granted a pre-season uniform waiver from Old Dominion Region.  This applies ONLY for this event.

The waiver has very specific parameters that are listed below:

1. Uniform jerseys must be similar in color and, for example, could be a combination of previous year's uniforms. It will be allowed for a team to combine black jerseys with navy jerseys.  But, combining black and white jerseys will not be allowed (other than the normal Libero configuration).
2. Uniform jerseys must all have front and back unique numbers (no duplicates allowed). The libero must be identified with a jersey that clearly contrasts to the jerseys of all regular players.
3. Uniform bottoms should be similar in color. Teams may combine black and navy shorts, but black and zebra print shorts will not be allowed.
4. The tournament directors will not file any formal uniform waiver documents for this tournament, however be prepared for them to be filed at other subsequent events.

All uniform questions must be addressed at the tournament. We will be as FLEXIBLE as we possibly can as we know many teams will not have received this year's uniforms yet!
